Ever wonder how much these 'actors' are worth?  Net Worth?  We always hear about how much the big ones make for the blockbusters .. but... what about the average actor?  What about those we recognize here and there, but ...  never made it to the 'big time?'  Have to admit .. I was a notch surprised, at how much some 'don't'.   This morning I decided to look up a few ...

First one is a 77 year old guy that is pretty recognizable.  The guy was/is a recovered alcoholic (good on him) when he was 'discovered' 36 years ago.  Since then, he's been in dozens of movies and TV shows.  I looked him up on a site that reports Net Worth of celebrities and they posted $8M.  Now, that's not chump change.  But, I guess I expected more, with royalties and all. And if one lives in Cali', how far does that actually go?  Still at 77 and apparently still sought after for small tidbit roles, he can pay the bills.  But.... doesn't seem like much in the Hollywood big picture?  Live Event Fee: $30,000 - $50,000.  Hey ... not bad pay to show up and have sheep take their pics with him?

Second one .. guy is about 60; my age.  He's been acting for thirty years.   Dozens of movies and lots of TV shows appearances.. mainly small roles. His current role in a motorcycle series is fairly small/unimportant.  When the smoke clears, he's sitting at $5M net worth.  Living in Texas, that goes a lot further than someone in SoCal though.  But ... $5M in the Hollywood scene ...    figured it'd be higher? Live Event Fee: Unknown.  But, probably safe to say it's between $10,000 - $30,000?  Hey ...well.....not bad pay to show up and have sheep take their pics with him?

Third one ...  guy is a lot younger than the previous guys' so I'll cut him slack.  He's in his upper 40s. ..   Been acting for about 30 years ...   has a major role in a niche TV series I currently watch.  I enjoy the character he plays and the guy's a good actor. Born in Cali' but not sure if he still lives there; probably does.   After all these shows he's done (over 40) and a few flicks... he rolls in at $2M.  Hmmm... that seems low to me, but hey ... maybe he'll be worth more than 8 by age 77? Live Event Fee: $20,000 - $30,000.  Hey .. again.. ... not bad pay to show up and have sheep take their pics with him?

Found myself wondering what motivates people to sell themselves out for a few bux on various off screen events when they have a name / reputation to concern themselves with.  Guess what it comes down to ... most of us need to make a buck.  I've always said everyone has a price; just a matter of how low it is.

Don't be a whore .... especially when it's supposed to be for charity .. when it's really not?
