Durango Rendevous : THE EVENT of 2023
Got to admit, I've come close to attending multiple times. When the Iron Indians (IIRA) had their event out in Durango three years in a row, I almost attended. Sometimes it was the same week, other years the following week. But I was caught up in my IIRA events, Brothers and Sisters and didn't attend the Rendezvous event. Few others with us did and had a great time. This year I'm considering it especially since I'll be up there for CVMA Nationals, Iron Butting to Colorado Springs. On the way back, I might head west to Durango to enjoy.

The main thing about this event is it's an IMRG event. IMRG is Indian Motorcycle's official Riders' Group. I also happen to be a Life Member of the IMRG. With multiple IMRG chapters attending, multiple dealerships supporting it, and pretty much the ONLY event in the US officially supported by Indian Motorcycle (not counting their own every fall), in addition to the local casino and Tribe supporting it, it's a must see. Couple that with the incredible riding in that area, some of the best in the country ..... it should be on every Indian rider's bucket list.
They have hundreds in attendance most likely bringing in more than any other event to include Indian's own that is always limited to 200 in the fall. Now if Indian opened up the flood gates can you imagine how big their event would be??? In any case with several hundred Indian Motorcycles at the event, it's the biggest in the US by far (well, if you don't count the 2019 event hosted by Indian Motorcycle of Little Rock owned by Rob Gregory ... Over 700 in attendance!).
THIS is the year to attend. Covid crap is in the rear view mirror and the event has matured and grown to the largest in the Nation. Hope to see you there!
