Indian Bike Week Sucks!
Funny Shit... just saw this on FB in a group .. can't make this stuff up :)
I went to Indian Bike Week last year. I rode 1,200 miles to this “rally” and we were truly disappointed. I know folks had a good time, but that was not my experience. 6 vendors and poorly planned rally. It was the worst rally that I have ever attended. Sunday the opening day, there was no one to check people in. One ride per day and no activities at the actual rally…..again only 6 vendors. One happy hour on Sunday at the tiki bar in Stillwater. Second day, no one at the rally as organiser and a few folks were on a ride all day. Only 2 vendors of the 6 were open. $100 registration fee got you a rally shirt and a promise to send a rally patch. Our group skipped the rest of the Indian Bike Week “rally” due to it being about as lame as a rally could be. Don’t waste your money on this “rally” or on the organisers. Indian Bike Week Sucks!"
Then .. all the comments... over 100 as I type this.
"it’s funny now.
Their slogan last year was “Skip Sturgis” and come to Indian Bike Week. Thousands of vendors vs 6. Laug""me too its a con job jusy about making money"
" that link is for the guy that runs the rally. Moved to to Wisconsin because mn won't allow him to do any form of commerce in mn after embezzling hundreds of thousands through the Indian dealership and imrg group he owned/ managed. Now just has another face to front it in a different state."
" I'm still waiting for him to follow through on his threats from a couple years ago... never did get that cease and desist order he threatened to have his lawyer send me..."
"Art is a total POS.
When you call him out he tries to act like it’s all bullshit.
I have browser page of all shit bookmarked and I share it as needed."

"Indian Rally on Indian Point - IRIP is a better time. Check it out. Riding the Ozarks is more fun."
"Just wants your money. That's what happens when you have no morals."
"I coulda told you that just by seeing the build up lol. I didn’t waste my time. Hit up the 120th Harley anniversary this weekend. it will be a good time."
"You're lucky you got a shirt...."
"got charged for shipping like the ones who couldn't attend after pre registration non refund"
""Art" scammed another one!!..."
"Yep..Indian bike week is in my back yard and there is no way I will pay 100.00 bucks for that. There are many legitimate charities that will do what they say."
"you mean my buddy is up to his same old shenanigans????"
"Wouldn’t give art the time of day, much less any money that he claims goes to a charity."
"Good to know… thank you for the heads up… at least you have that beautiful bike!"
"Reminds me of Alan Cease who ran the Yamaha Star group.
The guy was nothing but a grifter."

"Do your homework on the "promoter" before spending money. He isn't allowed to run a charity in Minnesota due to his mishandling of funds. Has multiple court cases against him from former employees and acquaintances for harassment and violence. Especially towards women. Threats of legal action against (me and many other people) for warning people about his shady ways. I took part in 2017. Over $220 raised...less than $25k donated to the charities. According to his own posted account.
Caveat Emptor
Let the Buyer Beware"
"I've preached this on here but people don't want to do there homework."
"Thanks for the heads up. We currently are in Winona MN for the MMR been coming to this one for years. No registration fee at all. Great rides, great events at night. Fun times great people. All bikes, all ages."
"Based on my brief experience with the organizer I won’t have any thing to do with the organization. Bizarre."
"Thank you, my bucket list just got shorter!"
"The "organizer" has been investigated several times for fraud. Lost a productive Indian Dealership..."
"Baaaahhaaaaa! Sounds like somebody is starting his marketing scam again!..."
"That sound you hear ever so subtly calling to you is saying ….. Sturgis ….. Sturgis ….. Sturgis"
Drama, Drama, and more Drama!!!
